It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles E. Bradley, of East Fallowfield, at the age of 71. A beloved father, grandfather, and proud veteran, who departed this life after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer on May 31 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Charle and Elizabeth (Ayers) Bradley and the husband of Deborah "Debbie" (Johnson) Bradley with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.
Charles, known by most as Chuck, proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1972 to 1975, stationed at Fort Bliss. His time in the military shaped his strong sense of duty and commitment that he carried with him throughout his life.
A man of many passions, Chuck had a deep love for classic Volkswagens and spent many joyful weekends at car shows, admiring the craftsmanship and connecting with fellow enthusiasts. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and NASCAR. His interest in history, particularly World War II aviation, sparked a lifelong fascination with military aircraft.
But above all, Chuck's greatest joy came from his family - especially his grandchildren. Whether it was cheering from the bleachers or taking them out to breakfast, he treasured every moment spent with them. His steady presence, warm heart, and sense of humor made him a beloved figure in their lives and a pillar of support and love.
Chuck will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of devotion, laughter, and love lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Deborah, Chuck is survived by his three children: Christopher Bradley, Victoria Grabill (Michael), and Melissa Campbell (Robert). His five grandchildren: Makenzie, Noah, Evangeline, Aubrey, and Chase. And his three siblings: Barbara Sheaffer (Michael), Lorraine Adams, and James Bradley (Diane).
A Celebration of Chuck's life will be held at a later date.
