Carol Marie Ault Smith
AUGUST 28, 1945 - JUNE 22, 2024
Carol, wife of the late Clifton W. Smith who passed in August 2005 after 36 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville she was the daughter of the late Coleman C. Ault and Elizabeth C. Ammon Ault.
Graduated 1963 from Scott Senior High School followed by the American Institute of Banking. Carol was employed at the National Bank of Chester Valley and Provident National Bank which both became PNC Bank for 42 years retiring in 2005 as an Assistant Vice President. She had positions as a Bank Teller, Branch Assistant Manager, Branch Operations Officer and Manager, Branch Operations Officer and Manager of Operations of PFPC overseeing approximately 50 people.
She was a member of Faith Community United Methodist Church (formerly Grace United Methodist Church of Coatesville) her entire life.
She enjoyed needlework, reading and bowling.
Carol is survived by her brother, Robert W. (Patricia) Ault, her niece Amy (Thomas) Silknitter, and her nephew Gary (Dawn) Ault.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM with a time of visitation from 10:00 AM till the service at Tel-Hai Retirement Community Stone Croft Apartments 4000 Tel Hai Circle, Honeybrook, PA.
Interment will be private with the immediate family.
