Kevin Patrick Kane, a resident of Coatesville PA for 13 years and formerly a long-term resident of Morrisville PA passed away on May 10, 2026.

Born on June 23, 1948 in Philadelphia, Kevin was a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia for over 40 years. He was a coach and moderator of the National Academic League. Outside of school, he was a founding member of Yardley Makefield Soccer Club where he served as President, coach, and player until his knees gave out. A true Renaissance man, he happily enjoyed participating in community theater, and was never without a project whether it involved woodworking, landscaping or building.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Fran, his son, Brent Kane (Heather); daughter, Erin (Jamal) English; and daughter, Meghan Marinho. His children were his greatest love. He has 9 grandchildren and he was very proud of all of them. Joe DePalma was his loyal friend for over 70 years. Family was important to Kevin. He is survived by his brothers, Terry Kane; Tom Kane (Sue); and sisters Kathy Hein (Doug); Peggy Hopton (Mike); and Bonnie Dunn (Jerry). Kevin was predeceased by his father, James, mother, Catherine, and his brother and co-combatant Francis Xavier Kane (Frannie) Kevin’s pets Pebbles, Sadie, Max and Hope are searching for his warm lap.

Visitation will be held at the Maclean-Chamberlain Funeral Home 339 West King’s Highway, Coatesville, PA on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 11 AM with service scheduled for 12 noon. Burial will be private.
