Helen Pryma Domsohn, 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Paoli Hospital. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years in 2020, Joseph Domsohn.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of John Pryma and Anna Handoe Pryma. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Mary Mascuilli and Florence Pryma.

Helen was a lifelong resident of Coatesville who dedicated herself to her family, faith, and church community. Throughout her life, she worked at Marietta Silk Mill, Bell Telephone, and Mariano’s Steak Shop before embracing her most cherished role as a homemaker.

Helen found great joy in cooking and bringing loved ones together, especially during her beloved Christmas Eve and Easter celebrations. Her Christmas Eve celebrations at her home in Thorndale will always be remembered as a festive, loving, and large gathering of family and friends. She was an active member of her church community, participating in the Sisterhood of the Church and the Senior Ukrainian Orthodox League (UOL), and was also a member of the Polish American Citizen Club and the Old Caln Historical Society.

A devoted mother and grandmother, who cherished her role in helping raise her grandchildren, Helen loved to watch her sons and grandchildren play sports. She loved attending church, making pyrohy (pierogi), and taking a ride to the casino. In her last few vibrant years of life, Helen enjoyed spending time with her three beautiful great grandchildren Ada, Hayden, and Joey.

Helen’s warmth and love for family and friends touched countless lives. She will be remembered fondly and loved deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Helen is survived by her four sons, Joseph P. (Nancy), Darren L. (Sue), Dwayne E. (late Michelle), Bryan D. Domsohn, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

An evening visitation time will be held at the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 392 Charles St, Coatesville, PA on Wednesday June 24, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday June 25, 2026 at the Church where friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow the service on Thursday at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church Cemetery.
